Welcome to 2017

Welcome to 2017 this year is going to be the best of all year I am going to have so much great time  this year because I am in J2 7SH with My teacher the best Teacher the Teacher that has NO idea how to work a laptop Mrs Shehata and also because one of my Best friend is in my class we have been friends since term 2 last year (2016) and her name is Sahana I also like this year because I am starting a new year at a new school and I have a new grade that I can have fun in

Bounce

Aim:
I want to investigate the relationship between speed, distance and time.


Hypothesis:

I think that the Harder and Higher the Ball is Dropped The Higher it will Bounce  

Equipment:

  • pole with 3.18m string attached
  • a person to move around the circle
  • stopwatch
  • paper and pen to write results

Method
  1. Put the pole in the ground.
  2. Pull the string out to its maximum length.
  3. Walk around in a circle using the string as a guide, marking out the circle as you go.
  4. Start timing the person as they walk the first lap.
  5. Record the result.
  6. For Lap 2, without the person stopping, time the person jogging around the circle.
  7. Record the result.
  8. For Lap 3, without the person stopping, time the person running around the circle.
  9. Record the result.
  10. At the end of the third lap the runner stops but continue timing for another 5 seconds.

We found out that the highest Bounce for on the Carpet was 310 mm and then the highest Bounce for outside was 430 mm have a look on my line Chart down Below on the lowest bounce outside was 365 mm and the lowest bounce inside was 100 mm and the the middle

 The paper plane lifted High I through My plane and then it went High into the sky I thought that It would get stuck in the tree the highest distance that we got was 6.60 By the Cruiser plane The next one was 3.50 by The Glider plane and then My plane was the jet and that went 2.20

A forensic scientist may discover powder at a crime scene. In order to determine if it is illegal or not the crime lab will identify the substance using chemistry. Science...The case of the barefoot beefburger

In groups of 4 or five you are going to need to use your forensic knowledge to solve a crime.
Using the clues found at the crime scene, determine which of the four suspects is the "barefooted burglar"? 
What do you think was the motive for this crime? 
Write the results of your findings and convince a jury of your peers.

At approximately 7:15 a.m., Friday morning, Mrs. King, the science teacher, thought something was fishy as she walked down the hall and noticed that her door was open. She walked into her classroom and immediately discovered that the small aquarium had been broken and her prized gold fish were gasping in the sink. Beside the broken aquarium were the shattered remains of the pink piggy bank that had been on the shelf above the aquarium. A can of blue paint was spilled on the floor. Footprints of a barefooted burglar led to an open window. Bits of a white powdery substance were found next to the broken, empty, piggy bank. The only other item found was a half-eaten large chunk of chocolate candy.

When the police arrived they immediately began to gather forensic evidence.
  • Sticky fingerprints were lifted from the aquarium and piggy bank. The painted footprints were measured. The chunk of chocolate candy was collected for examination. It appeared there were teeth imprints.
  • The white powdery substance by the piggy bank was carefully placed in a plastic bag and taken to the forensic chemist for identification .

Findings:  I found out that baking soda explode when it is mixed with vinegar and when you mix Salt and Vinegar together it bubbles so that mean that It was most likely to be Peg the Leg

The Feet Can Measure The Height

1.Aim- Based on someones Feet size we can measure their height
2. hypothesise-Know a rough estimate of our Height.
3.Method-Have the students in your group remove their shoes and measure their height.
4.Equipment-Mini Ruler Large Ruler and Calculate
5. Results-So today I found Out that My feet were 20 cm and My Height was 150
6.Summery- the police investigator and forensic scientist use 15%of a person foot length is equal to their to their height 
7.Conclusion-By Knowing what a person foot size is we can determine their approximate height
